A Card a day...

Hello! Happy Monday. I am excited to tell you about a challenge that I am giving myself... and I am hoping all of you will follow along and offer support... it sounds like I am about to embark on a long journey... in a way I am... Christmas Cards. (gasps acceptable here!) lol... Well, I have so many ideas for cards this year that I have decided to just do a bunch of different ones. I am going to do a card a day! So here is my first card from my journey:

This card was so quick and easy to make. I started by using my Tim Holtz Alterations On the Edge Die, "Brackets" on the front edge of my card. The paper that I am using is from Echo Park, Ornaments & Trim the Tree. I used the Cloud Corner Chomper to scallop the corners of the polka dot paper. I cut out the banners from the Trim the Tree paper. They are actually Christmas Trees that I cut the trunk off and turned upside down. I used brown twine to string them together and then pop-dotted them onto my card front. The letters that I used to spell out Merry are from KI Memories, Heirloom Epoxy Stickers.
Here is a side view:

Have a great night!
