"Peeping" in to say Happy Easter

Happy Wednesday to you all... I can hardly believe that Easter is this weekend! ...especially since it is so stinkin' cold here! Spring, come out, come out, wherever you are!

Here is a altered paint can that I made using some of my all time favorite things:
PEEPS & JELLYBEANS...

Bunnies in the grass and birdies in the nest...

Hope you have a fabulous day and Spring finds you wherever you may be...

Tell Your Story

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a weekend full of creativity. It was quite the yucky weekend here, cold and rainy. PERFECT for staying in pj's and scrapbooking. Here is a layout I pulled out of my "unfinished" bucket... I started it awhile back and then just hit a block, so I put it up in a folder with all the rest of the papers that went with the line, Teresa Collins, Tell Your Story.

This is what it was when I pulled it out this weekend....
I had used a mask with some Distress Ink-Wild Honey, Splattered some Glimmer Glam-Tide Pool on it, and adhered my picture.
....and after a little more of this and that...  wha-la!
Using some of the other papers, I fussy cut the tickets out and the large flower that is behind the title. The ribbon was inked with Distress Stains and I just twirled and twisted it throughout my layout.

Using the Scroll Design stamp from 100 Proof Press, I stamped in two of the corners as the foundation for little embellishment groupings.

...now off to pull another layout out to finish! I am ashamed to say that I have quite a few in my "Unfinished Bucket".

Adventures in Ink, Glitter, and Washi Tape! Oh Boy!

Happy Sunday. I did a little creating this weekend... and played with My Mind's Eye papers, Washi Tape, Spray Inks, Paint,  Epiphany Craft Punches and 100 Proof Press Stamps!

 There is some hidden journaling...

I painted my title right on the picture..

Using Staz On Jet Black, I stamped right onto the photo as well... I used the "Music Lines" stamp from 100 Proof Press.
I used a Gluber to create my twine embellishment. I swirled the twine around and then put Distress Stickles Glitter on it! An Epiphany Crafts star and Tattered Floral flower help complete the grouping.

...and Washi tape at the top and bottom for a little more ummmph!

Enjoy your day... and maybe go on an inky adventure of your own!

A "Blooming" Challenge

Hello!
Happy First Day of Spring!
Today I have a card to share I made for the great challenge going on over at the 100 Proof Press Facebook page. The theme is "Bloom". Inspired by the upcoming Spring weather we all are so anxiously awaiting!

I used paper from Crate Paper's Maggie Holmes line, Technique Tuesday Sentiment Stamp, and the following stamps from 100 Proof Press...

"Music Lines"

"Flower Face"

"Verbena Flower Head"

I stamped the Verbena Flower Head multiple times and embossed with Seafoam White embossing powder. Then using Perfect Pearls, I colored each one a different color. I then ripped them up and created the background.

The zig-zag paper was misted with Perfect Pearls Mist in Blue Patina and the edges of everything were inked with Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry.

I hope this Spring brings you Sunshine & Happiness... and lots of creativity!

Fun with Scraps...

Today I finally got to play in my studio. Sorry I have been gone so long, but I have been working, sleeping, and working some more. I didn't have much time, so I pulled out my box of smaller scraps that I keep for card making:

After digging around I decided on a handful of various pieces:

And this is what I created:

I crinkled, distressed, and cut up all the different pieces and then I used my Flourish Bird Stamp from 100 Proof Press.
