All Things Altered Blog Hop

Hello! Happy Firday! ...and welcome to my stop on the All Things Altered Fall/Halloween Blog Hop. If you have been hopping along then you just came from our fabulous host Pam at Scrapbook Flair. If you want to start at the beginning then click HERE!

A few months ago I got this castle from my friend. It was leftovers from her garage sale. I saw it and immediately had an idea..

I sanded it down, primed it and then with a little paint and texture medium...

The details:
I used the metal air duct tape that you would buy in a hardware store and adhered it to paper and then ran it through my the texture boutique. I then cut them into squares to form the shingles for my roof.

I painted bricks and stones on the castle.

I have it on my mantle as a Halloween decoration...

I hope that you have enjoyed my spooky little castle. Now hop on over to Barbara at Black Hole Art Studio and see what inspiration she has in stored for you!
