Flower Punch + PageMap Sketch = too cute!

Below is a sketch for a contest going on over at PageMaps. It was a challenging sketch to play with, but once I was inspired, it all came together! I started with Crate Paper's Restoration Line and a flower punch.

This is what I came up with....

I started with the flowers. I cut out around the pink scallop border from the Fringe paper. I then just added some of the other papers here and there and used some of the stickers from the embellishment sheet. Here are some of the details....

Here is a close up of all the flowers punched out...
As you see from the close up pictures a lot of my embellishments are popped off the page. I used pop dots for this look. They are a great way to add a lot to your layout without really adding "a lot".
Here on the frame embellishment I used pop dots on one side and glued the other down all the way. This is another way to use pop dots.

Well, I am off to create. There is a challenge over on Penny Black's Blog and I have a great idea...

...to be continued!

  1. Wonderful layout, but how could it not be, Bella is such a beautiful subject to do photographs of and then to combine it with the sketch. Wonderful, just wonderful
