Sending you the best... with Distress & Embossing

Good Morning and Happy Friday! Today I have a fairly simple card I made using one of the most beautiful Blank Page Muse stamps: Floral Spray Sunflowers Chrysanthemums Words Border Art by Pam Bray.

It started off with a little stamping and embossing...

Next I took some Distress Oxide Ink and inked up my card and splattered Distress Oxide Ink in Mustard Seed.

I then stamped again on a scrap piece of paper and cut out the sunflower. Inked it up and used a pop dot to place on my card.
The leaves were di-cut and then covered with Distress Embossing Glaze.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of grungeboard and inked it up, then applied with pop dots.

Until next time... I am wishing you the very best!

Happy Creating!

Crazy About Glaze! ...a Blank Page Muse Project.

Happy Friday Creative Loves! I am so excited to be back here and creating again. This year has been a wild ride. From starting the year with Covid and then as soon as I recovered I jumped into home renovations. Starting with redoing my Art Studio and then, pretty much, every room got some love after that...

Today I am sharing the first project that I made in my new creative space! Using a "new to me" product and some favorite Blank Page Muse Stamps.

I have been going non stop on the home renovations, but I would end most nights scrolling through Pinterest and watching You Tube videos on different techniques, to keep my creative soul alive. ...and then my best scrappy friend who tells me about new products, and that is how I found Distress Embossing Glazes! I knew instantly what I wanted to try first, and that turned into the project you see above.

Embossing glazes are transparent. This is what I wanted to play with... so I started by inking up my tag with Distress Ink and then splattering some water on it.

Using the Diamond Repeating Pattern stamp and Archival Ink, I stamped the background. I then used my Embossing Dabber I rolled embossing juice all over the tag and sprinkled Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze and melted it with the heat gun. I loved the beautiful sheer gloss color it added to my project! (I missed a photo here... I was so caught up in creating!)

Next Step was to stamp my Roman Numerals with Archival Ink and repeated the process with the Embossing Dabber, but this time with Distress Glaze in Broken China.

I then stamped and cut out my perfume bottles from the Vintage Scents Perfume Ephemera set and embossed them with Embossing Stain in Tattered Rose.

The last step was to cut out out a few embellishments from some of my favorite Sizzex Dies and cover them with Distress Glaze as well. Put your tag together and sit back and enjoy your masterpiece.

I hope you have been inspired and are ready to grab your favorite stamps and start creating!

Until Next Time...
Happy Friday and Happy Creating!
